Classic game gets a remake. Humans drag home plastic discs. They look proud. . . until the box becomes a coaster. The game won’t start without a day-one update. So much for nostalgia. Everyone wants to play right away. Nope. You need internet. Update or stare at a loading screen forever. The joy of waiting. My favorite. It’s been 25 years, and still, humans chase old memories. Now with more steps and less fun. I’d nap through this whole process if I could. . . probably will. (Based on: real news about Gothic Remake physical copies and day-one updates. )
